Dedication Plaques at Mount Laguna Observatory

Immediately above is the dedication plaque for Mount Laguna Observatory. Dedicated back when San Diego State University was still classified as a college, it reads: "Operated in Cleveland National Forest under use permit from United States Department of Agriculture, Forest Service. Partly financed by National Science Foundation and San Diego State College Foundation. Dedicated 19 June 1968."

At the top of the page are the plaques mounted on the base of the Buller 21-inch Visitors' Telescope that commemorate its construction in 1950, and relocation and dedication at Mount Laguna Observatory on 22 May 1988.
